Your route to improvement will begin by evaluating where your golf game is currently, both mentally and physically.
Our Approach
We do not teach the mechanics of the golf swing; that is the domain of PGA professionals with whom we work closely. Our expertise is in the crucial non-technical aspects of golf - the human skills of mindset, emotional resilience and physicality.
Mindset & Emotional Resilience
We will ask you to complete a questionnaire, then as part of a one-to-one introduction we will evaluate the strengths and weaknesses of your golfing mindset and emotional resilience and agree a path for progress. From our experience, this can be an on-going process of client self-awareness, self-management and self-development, and can provide significant personal gain both on and off the golf course.
Physical
We take you through the Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) certified screening process which assesses physical fitness, mobility and golf bio-mechanics. Once this information has been assessed and reviewed, we can create a TPI golf fitness handicap and bespoke fitness improvement programme specific to your body. We will also agree a timetable for measurable goals of improvement going forward. As your physicality is enhanced, we undertake a follow-up TPI screening to assess and review your golf fitness handicap accordingly.

One of the great things about MBG is that it recognises clients as unique individuals with their own goals and aspirations, varying levels of physical capability and different motivation factors. This is especially important for a ‘senior’ like me with body not quite as willing as it used to be, or a mind grown more sceptical with age.

Unlike gym membership (of which I have had many but never sustained!), I have found it easy to stick with Mind Body Golf because it is practical, engaging, and above all, fun. Whereas I have often found gym instruction to be too onerous and quite intimidating, the Mind Body Golf bespoke programme built for my specific needs and capacity has always been a rewarding and enjoyable challenge. The precision of movement in the Pilates section, for example, has made a noticeable improvement in my swing rotation, the TRX training has strengthened my core muscles, while the Inner Caddie Programme has totally transformed my approach to golf and, at the same time, boosted my enjoyment of the game. Of course, Mind Body Golf does require commitment, but I find it is a commitment that is well worth the effort.

Mind Body Golf has given me a new outlook to the enjoyment that I get from my golf game. Having had many golf lessons through the last 30 years or so, I believe Mind Body Golf has pulled back the curtain on golfing enjoyment, and offers clarity on improving a golfer’s mindset, mobility and strength which leads to a better golf game and more fun. Also, I’m hitting my drives about 20 yards further than my golfing buddies, which feels great, as I haven’t told any of them about Mind Body Golf!
